It was my fav. before i fell out of the sceen (aside from the mainly butcherd amerime dubs on adult swim ><). Also i have been struggling to remember the name of a series someone showed me, involving scientists living on the moon, then some how being reincarnated on earth, and 1 of them now being a demented kid with psychic powers.I could probably elaborate more but i dont want to ramble, any ideas? its atleast as old as El hazard. WarCry Choice Posts: 5390 Joined: 30 Jun 2004 | grr i started reading berserk on bleachexile and i was amazed why i never did this earlier cause the scans were awesome, but then they turned crap. the idiot thought it was a brilliant idea to scan two pages and make them smaller than the one page scans. and the translation became engrish =/

I can't remember, but I think it was like a 3part series. I think it sounded a lot like Animatrix (that's a different anime), because I keep thinking that that is what it was called.

WarCry Choice Posts: 5390 Joined: 30 Jun 2004 | Yay, I remembered! And now I remember why I kept confusing it with Animatrix too! It's called Armitage, and there is Poly-Matrix and Dual-Matrix.

Only two episodes are out so far, but it looks good! And theres a high resolution version available from Lunar-Anime too!

no room for especulating and spreading rumors here bring us a link with concrette proof, and dragonball sucks only small kids can enjoy it, their mouth only moves like once or twice every conversation and the fighting suks, cant see bleep, 2 or 3 frames per second so it kinda looks a lirl like south park, when i was a small kid i leked it, i even saw the holle thing, but i now i think it's bleep |

Kind of makes you wonder when someone will actually try this, seeing as how Sci-fi isnt all that far fetched.
|
WarCry Choice Posts: 5390 Joined: 30 Jun 2004 | I actually tried watching Vexille the other day. I DLed the high rez one, but for some reason it would freeze periodically. Not sure if it's a problem with my system or my codecs. The few bits at the start looked awesome, though. And I mean really good! You know, though, with all these new anime switching to CG I am starting to wonder if I am going to miss the good ol' hand drawn ones, such as the first Ghost in the Shell and such. BTW, have you all watched Karas like Leafar suggested? It's good =)
|
Posts: 5486 Joined: 28 May 2004 | Karas is beastly. As for Vexille not working right for you, was the high rez one a blu-ray rip? Depending on your hardware, there should be no problems. I watched it on an out-dated 6 year old computer with very little lag time on subs, only real lag was during explosions. If you dont have a national-anime account (not advertising them) it be 5 bucks, and they have a blu-ray rip. The movie is incredible, and I definitely suggest it to anyone, especially those who love the concept of genetic manipulation. (gene manipulation not a spoiler, it becomes known in the first minutes of the movie. The action is incredible, and while I do agree that the good old hand drawn will be missed if it all goes CG, theres a certain charm to the CG scene as of late, RE: Appleseed: Ex Machina and this lovely work of art known as Vexille.
